Touch of Genius

Portrait work is one of the most difficult to raise above the pedestrian and familiar. You have submitted unpretentious, honest images and the result is a FANTASTIC gallery of studies. These are truly GREAT pictures. Well done!

1979 ?

Born in 79 ? Really ? Your work seem more "mature". Good job! Keep shooting.

Sometimes hyper-realism stretches the boundaries of what is truly in front of you.i think the matrix feel should be used for the dream and not the enhanced falsehood you use it for.The images tell a better truth if left to their own devices!

Thank You m.c.gilbert. You are sure right, but... I want to express my self in this way, sometimes the false imagery is onle one thing that we can see around us...

Very intriguing portraits. The first woman on the last row is so creepy. I also like the one of the woman in the white dress standing in the field by what looks like a barn/house. It's "Christina's World" with a twist.

words

Hi JAKUB, words are there to be used and they are your words. Be free...

Oh well Frank I really do not remember everything I did to that image. Some dodge and burning, and very light sepia tones, and contrast up. At the end, there was some sharpening added.
