Style

Forget signature style and just do what you are doing, it will all come naturally in time. You certainly have a good eye for composition already and an understanding of light [ i'm hoping that everything is on manual ! ] I also think that you could eventually do really well with portraiture. Other concepts suggest you might really want to be an artist.

Thank you for the comment, didn't really know what to expect comment wise. It is all on manual, i'd have it no other way.

Thank you for visiting my page and leaving your very kind comments Sarah. I'm glad you use manual settings:-] All of my images were taken with available light or in a few indoor ones just 1 directed household standard lamp. Only one image used a blip of fill flash. Less complicated the better. Stick with that.

Such good portraits. Very personal. You were obviously connected with these people. The single photo of the woman by the window is wonderful! Beautifully done.

And, BTW, thank you so much for the good words you left on my portfolio. I appreciate your taking the time. Best wishes! David

Hi Sarah, as far as signature style goes, at this point just shoot everything and anything and with time you will develop your own "look." Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because not only is that how you learn, but often the best photos come out of what was thought were mistakes.
