Gered Mankowitz established his first studio in Masons Yard, at the very heart of swinging London in 1963.

BY 1967 Gered was established as one of London’s leading rock photographers and over the past 45 years has continued to work in the music business as well as supplying many leading magazines with celebrity portraits and creating prize winning images for advertising.

He now concentrates on books and exhibitions of his highly desirable classic images of the likes of Jimi Hendrix and the Stones.
