Changing Backgrounds

A new portrait trend in popular Mexican photography, the art of changing backgrounds has been brought to clean perfection with Foto Palma in Mexico City.

Humberto Rosas Soriano, the owner of Foto Palma and also graphic designer, confesses that he has never taken photographs but that he is a great lover of photographic retouching. Basically, his work involves changing the background of virtually any photograph that people bring to him: 'If you want to talk with Jesus or if you want the Virgin to embrace you, we can help you! We can do all that!’
