Metz Mecablitz 45 CL-4 digital
Powerful Flashgun

by KEN BROWNE

The Metz mecablitz 45 CL-4 digital is now available in a choice of basic or kit versions.
'The reflector's vertical and horizontal tilt and swivel abilities can also be used for indirect lighting'

WHILE THE FORMER is intended for photographers who largely work with manual or automatic flashes, the kit version, in addition to various special functions, also the appropriate SCA connecting cable, NiMH batteries and a modern recharging unit. Needless to say, the basic model can be retrofitted as required.

The Metz mecablitz 45 CL-4 digital is a powerful handheld flashgun with a GN of 45 for ISO 100/21° at a 35 mm focal length, as well as the latest recharging technology. In the basic version, it is an ideal flash unit for photographers who put a higher priority on manual adjustment, high light output and rapid recycling times than on an extensive range of options. It is equipped with a secondary reflector so that perfect highlights can be created in portraits.

In the kit version, the camera-specific system flash operating modes of the widest variety of camera makers can be used perfectly, providing a suitable SCA adapter is available. The TTL mode and the automatic functions can be just as easily set as manual partial lighting via the practical dial on the top of the 45 CL-4 digital. The reflector's vertical and horizontal tilt and swivel abilities can also be used for indirect flash lighting.
