Serrano’s new exhibition, opening this week at both Yvon Lambert galleries, will confront the visitors with larger than life images of animal excrements. Choosing psychedelic colour background, Serrano beautifies and celebrates the object of his work.
The photographs tackle the question of what’s live and what’s dead and also ‘what remains’. French feminist Hélène Cixous has contributed to the catalogue which accompanies the show.
