Nova Gallery
Online Photography Gallery with a Difference

Nova Gallery is a new online gallery set to launch on the 16th of June, 2009. Nova Gallery's aim is to offer a chance to help up-and-coming photographers gain some exposure and sell prints, to make contemporary photography more accessible and collectable, and to utilise the power of photography as a catalyst for positive social change.

At Nova, they are passionate about contemporary photography. And they want to share the love, giving everyone the chance to buy and collect great photographs, from great photographers.

They've gone out of their way to persuade some fine photographers to share some of their best work - exclusively. Nova Gallery will bring you a range of photographic styles, representing the best of up-and-coming contemporary art photography. All will be printed on quality media and most will be available in three sizes. All will be eminently collectable.

To celebrate the launch of Nova, they will be offering six photographs, three on June 16th, the launch date, and three more three weeks later. Each photographic print is part of a limited edition exclusive to Nova and comes with a numbered certificate signed by the artist.

Nova Gallery's Featured Photographers:

Peter Baker - Peter Baker grew up in a small farm town south of Detroit, moved to Chicago, San Francisco, and then back to Michigan, where he continues to work on and exhibit his photography, while also running a graphic design studio, Elevated Works. Everything he shoots is about exploration and seeing something new, digging around to find the out-of-the-way areas, the overlooked beauty and the ignored ugliness.

Hin Chua - Born in Malaysia before migrating to Australia, Hin is currently working on a long-term photographic project ('After the Fall') which explores the delicate balance between man and nature. Made over the last two years in locations throughout the world, the series examines regions of the planet where one entity spills into the other, with unpredictable, often disturbing results.

Mark Wickens - Mark Wickens is a photographer living in San Francisco, California. Currently, he is working on a project documenting the vast California landscape and its interaction with the ever expanding built environment.Mark's photographs work to convey the simple, quiet beauty of the everyday.
